Our Role

The Challenge:

Ecolux, the premier supplier of high-end hotel toiletries in the Maldives, aimed to transition from importing to manufacturing customizable hotel amenities under its brand. The move required a nuanced brand strategy, fresh branding materials, innovative packaging, and a direct-to-customer e-commerce platform, catering to both local and international decision-makers within the hospitality sector aged 25 to 65.

The Solution:

Understanding Ecolux’s unique position in the luxury segment of the hospitality industry, the brand was reimagined to reflect luxury and eco-friendliness. This rebranding encompassed a new logo design that married the concepts of luxury and nature using gold and dark forest green, symbolizing premium quality and environmental consciousness. The packaging redesign focused on cost-effective yet elegant container shapes. A state-of-the-art e-commerce website was developed to showcase Ecolux’s commitment to quality and luxury, featuring exclusive brands, customizable products, and furniture, with a user experience designed to reflect the Maldives’ serene beauty and the brand’s natural ethos.

Web Design Process

The website development for Ecolux was a pivotal aspect of its brand transformation, meticulously designed to cater to the luxury hospitality market. Utilizing WordPress and WooCommerce, the platform was engineered for simplicity and elegance, allowing customers to effortlessly navigate through the diverse range of Ecolux’s eco-friendly and luxurious hotel amenities. The site’s architecture divided into informational pages and an e-commerce section, showcases Ecolux’s exclusive brands, customizable products, and furniture, all while emphasizing the brand’s commitment to natural ingredients and luxury. 

The website’s aesthetic, featuring a 3D jungle and Maldivian island, immerses visitors in the serene beauty synonymous with Ecolux’s brand ethos, effectively marrying functionality with immersive storytelling to create a unique online shopping experience.
